Kalimpong Constituency is all set for a Teacher vs Teacher context of a same school this time. Dr Harka Bahadur Chhetri Science teacher from JAP and Sarita Rai Nepali Teacher from GJM Both from St George Higher Secondary School.The teacher fight will be interesting and contesting. The 58 year old Sarita Rai was a party leader from 2007 when gjm came to power .She was chosen in the post of President of Kalimpong GJM for a long time . After she left the post on September 2014 she was promoted as Central Committee leader. Known for her sincerity the name of Rai came as a surprise for GJM cadre in Kalimpong. The front runner from GJM Kalimpong was left out which has left many hope down. Meanwhile the TMC supported JAP candidate Dr Harka Bahadur Chhetri and CPIM supported GJM candidate Sarita Rai fight will be the center point in Hills but it is certain that St George school from Pedong will be providing the coming MLA to.
