SPTMC allege Modi of violating MCC

Sikkim Pradesh TMC party have alleged the PM Narendra Modi of violating Model code of conduct in a recent public rally in Duars and Siliguri. SPTMC Secretary Tshering Wangchuk Lepcha addressing a press meet in Kalimpong said that the centre has issued order to constitute a committee regarding granting of ST Status to 11 tribes living in Sikkim and other Gorkha dominated states  and area just just before polls in hill region. It is a clear violation of MCC said Lepcha .
He added that the Last year too PM Modi in his election campaign said Gorkha Dream is my Dream to much emotional Gorkhas of this region.
Lepcha said that the order state that the committee shall consult especially Sikkim where no Dhimal tribes and even the Centre have named Jogi .Khas, Rai and Yakha( Dewan) where as Sikkim Govt communities have Saniyasi(Jogi) Chhetri ,Bahun, Khirat Khambu Rai and Kirat Dewan instead of Yakha Dewan.
These will later led to left out of many communities as per Lepcha.He appealed PM to study about 36th Amendment Act where technically and constitutionally no Gorkha word has been used.
It was TMC goverment in West Bengal that forwarded the copy for inclusion of 11 Communities to the then PM Manmohan Singh in Feb 2014 before Lok Sabha Polls.
He even placed the report of Gorkha Apex Committee which state the RGI have declined the Demand of 11 communities of Sikkim because of poor ethnographic information on 11 communities furnished by State Government of Sikkim
