Soon after GNLF President Mann Ghising who was nominated as the vice-chairman of the North Bengal Board for Development of Sports and Games the party cadre has too started its activities. The GNLF party whose activities was very less in Kalimpong till now has now started indefinite dharna demanding different issue related to general public at Trikone park from today . About 25 member from the party sat on the dharna at trikone park under town committee which will in the first continue till 11^th July informed Maurice Kalikotey . He said the people now understand the value of 6^th Schedule and demanding DGHC back but silently. This will move on but what is important is that the Hills Youth is facing the unemployment issue.  We demand that the state government must come forward to solve the issue. He said the GNLF ruled DGHC gave jobs to about 6-7 thousand people but GTA lacks so. We want lift the dharna until government doesn’t speak. We have made an arrangement for unemployed youths to address their problem for 1-3 pm everyday. Meanwhile he said that every tribe should have their separate development boards. He too alleged that GTA is targeting casual worker after election by transferring them to other sub division . He demanded the cancellation of such orders issued by GTA.
