
National Confederation of Dalit
Adivasi Organisations (NACDAOR) held its National Executive Council
meeting on 14/7/2016 at Indian Social Institute in New Delhi for the
election of its new National Chairman and Executive Council Board.
Mr. Subash Singh from small town Kalimpong of Darjeeling District in
West Bengal has been unanimously elected as the National Chairman of
NACDAOR along with Co-Chair Mrs. Rajni Tilak from Delhi, Vice Chairman
Rajesh Upadhyay and Mr. Mukti Tirki from Delhi, General Secretary Mr.
Sukanta Behra from Orissa and 15 National Executive Council members from
the different states of the country.
NACDAOR is an apex body of more than 2200 Dalits Organisations across 23
states including North Eastern states of the country. It is working for
the Dalit, Adivasi and Minorities right since its inception in 2000.
NACDAOR is working from International platform including United
Nation's agenda like recently passed resolution adopted by 178 countries
on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and transformation of SDGs into
inclusive national development goals for the marginalised Dalits,
Adovasi and Minorities living in the villages and forests of the
country. Subash Singh is also a Founder of Darjeeling bases Charitable
Trust called Mani Trust.
