The road to Nimbong zero which was blocked after the road was washed out at Zero point was partially opened today after the GTA Special engineering department today started the cutting. Prof Kalyan Dewan along with Assistant Engineer of the Department ,Contractor Tikaram Sharma visited the place and soon started the work. The area is a landslide prone zone. Any time the hills above the road is ready to come down as a result of Slide. Today the Sabhasad laid foundation of alternative road to Nimbong . The 2.5 kms road will be built from Khopi Dara to Nimbong Chautara which will solve the problem faced by the resident of Nimbong and Pabringtar GP. Local contractor informed that the cutting of the road will finished by 2 month and the total work of road till year end. The local have taken a sigh of relief after the vehicle started passing today.
