GRNM writes to PM on Gorkhaland Issue

The Gorkhaland Rajya Nirman Morcha
(GRNM) has today send a 3 page letter to PM Narendra Modi requesting for
opening of dialogue with all party towards formation of Gorkhaland issue.GRNM
Party president Dawa Pakrin today speaking with media person at Reporters
Kalimpong office today said that the PM has said " Gorkhas dream is my
Dream" and now the time has come to take early action to fulfill the dream
of Gorkhas i.e. Separate State of Gorkhaland.He said the Central Government should
start a dialogue taking all political parties for this issue. He said many have
laid lives in every movement for the cause of Gorkhaland. GRNM has asked an
inquiry to set up for those who have lost the lives for this movement and get
compensated from State and Central Government. Meanwhile GRNM party in its
letter has highlighted the issue of ongoing indefinite Hunger Strike of
Krishna Chhetri president of Gorkha Jan
Kalyan Manch in Siliguri from 15th Nov. Pakrin said “ It is
extremely disheartening to see that every national media and even our state government
has overlooked and ignored the Historic Event. He said every one stands with
Chhetri strike and if anything happens to him that would lead to further disturbance
and violence if no action is taken by the Central Government.Tags: LOCAL
