Meeting of Food &Civil Supplies Department held

A
meeting was held at the chamber of the Food and Civil Supplies Department
officer, Dhurba Bareily today in order to discuss the issues regarding ration
distribution and other issues faced by the ration card holders. The Vigilance
Cell officials along with the members of the Krishak Kalyan Sangathan (KKS)
were present during the meet. The meeting discussed on the quality of ration,
issues of the BPL ration card holders, ration receipt, ration scale, rate etc.
The
KKS Secretary, Vishnu Chettri stressed that the ration card holders should get
sufficient ration from the ration shops. The BPL and the APL card holders
should get ration according to their categories, he added. The Food & civil
Supplies officer assured that the Department shall take necessary steps
regarding the same. He also informed that a meeting will be called on between
the Department and the dealers next week. Lastly, he mentioned that if the
ration card holders have any complaints then they are directed to immediately
contact the Department.
