FATHER KILLS 14 OLD MONTH BABY

Father killed a 14 months old baby in reang bazar under kalimpong sub division last night.
As per sources the sanjay baraily(28) resident of bhutia busty
darjeeling was working as a labour in the river bed of river tista.he
had 2 children one 3 years old son and the 14 month old daughter named
as priya baraily.after the baby girl was born the father disliked her
and often used to hit the girl baby without any reason .the mother pooja
baraily always defended her daughter from his father who always warned
of killing her.seeing the father attitude the wife always insisted to
give her child to other if he disliked her but sanjay never accepted the
idea .on 8th july evening soon as sanjay returned from his work he
heard the sound of baby crying which irritated him and slaped him will a
full force.again on 9th july early morning at around 7 a.m before
leaving for his work he again thrashed the baby with his hard hand and
threw in the bed ,the baby became unconscious Soon after he left the
house ,seeing his daughter unconscious she bought her daughter to a
nearby rambi block primary health centre in the afternoon where his
father reached there .he told the hospital authority that the baby
slipped in the house which hurt her but unfortunately the baby breathed
her last around 7 p.m .the
mother while taking the dead baby in her arms told the villagers about
the incident after which the villager reached the police post and stated
the whole incident after which the police immediately reached the house
of sanjay baraily and arrested him and today was produced in kalimpong
court with a charge of 304 IPC.Tags: LOCAL
