A 24 year old youth from Homes Dispensary area was arrested after he allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl of the same area .

Arpan Singh Rajput , 24, is charged with raping a 15 old minor girl on Saturday night and Sunday morning several times.

According to Incident Rajput resident of Homes Dispensary area forcefully abducted the victim and took her in the bike he was riding .She was with her friend and Sister after shopping .

Both were untraced despite search but the victim reached the home on Sunday 11 am. When the parents inquired to her daughter the whole day she was able to narrate the incident on evening time . She told that she was kept in a garage near the dispensary area all night where she was raped several times .She was given threat of not telling the incident. Immediately the victim family lodged the FIR in Kalimpong Police Station after which a team of Kalimpong Police raided the house of the accused and arrested  him yesterday night around 11 p.m


The Victim has been sent to Kalimpong Hospital and the accused has been forwarded to Darjeeling informed Kalimpong ASP Amlan Ghosh .

 He has been booked under section 4 of POCSO Act 2012 and was forwarded to Darjeeling Session Judge 2nd Court today
