Ratan Thapa felicitated for his uncontested win

The
uncontested Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) candidate from the 22 no Labda-
Mungpoo Constituency, Ratan Thapa was felicitated today during the victory
celebrations held under the Presidentship of the Mungpoo Zone President,
Pradeep Chettri. Thapa while addressing the gathering assured that through the
Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) a new Mungpoo shall be created.
“The Morcha shall definitely win the left over 17 seats,” stated Thapa
confidently. Further, he claimed that the GTA is for overall development.
Through GTA the hills shall develop and the State Government shall get its
answers, he added. Likewise Thapa notified that the Mungpoo area has mixed
issues for it consists of Cinchona Estate, Forest Busty and Highway areas.
During
the programme Thapa received a traditional Nepali cap from the Mungpoo Zone
President, Pradeep Chettri and a congratulations letter from the Secretary,
Ratan Lama. The Mungpoo Motor Karmachari Kalyan Sangathan also felicitated
Thapa during the occasion. Kapil Lohar, Anit Khati and Gagan Rai were also
present.
