Awareness on tourism held

Kalimpong, September 6
An awareness programme on tourism promotion was today
organized by the members of the Brahma Kumari Gyan Jyoti Kunj at Mela Ground in
Kalimpong.
The programme focused on the development of tourism and the ways and means to attract the tourists. Brahmakumari Sonam Didi on the occasion stressed on the neat and clean environment of the surroundings, garbage not to be dumped at the drain and on the roads, not to spit wherever chewing pan and the gutkas which degrades the environment. She also appealed one and all for the maintaining the water, soil and air pure.
Brahmakumari Kamlesh Didi who had come all the way from Mumbai said that the youths who are on negative path must be brought back in the right path and this can be done through yoga and meditation. The tourist must be respected, honored and one has to behave well with them which are the very essence of promoting tourism she added.
The programme also had the presence of incharge of the organisation Brahmakumari Alka Didi and devotees from Sikkim, Darjeeling.
