GTA has no power on DGHC property- Peoples Forum

The General Secretary of the Peoples Forum
Praveen Gurung strongly opposing today questioned the Gorkhaland Territorial
Administration (GTA) on the annihilation of the Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council
(DGHC).
Adding more he said
that the State Government has not obliterated the DGHC Act of 1988 and a notice
by the State Government of accepting only till No 73 not to No 74 on 14 March
2012 proves it.
He also alleged GJM
President Bimal Gurung only cares for money but not for the identity and
feelings of the Gorkhas.
The State Government on
13 August 2012 has stated that the DGHC has not been ousted in accounts of the
cased registered by Subash Ghising at the Kolkata High Court No WP No 12212 (W)
of 2012 and, case No WP No 14620 (W) 2012 by Praveen Gurung.
The GTA cannot tear down the property of the
DGHC neither they can transfer the employees working under the DGHC said
Praveen Gurung opposing the transfers being made under the DGHC.
