Susan Thapa, the Secretary cum Chief Coach of Darjeeling Gorkha Karate
Do Association is one of the participants who will be representing India in the 20th Seiko Kai International Karate Championship to be held at Colombo, Sri Lanka on October 20, 2012.Thapa, who hails from Kalimpong, will be participating in the 60kg
category. He received the conformation letter from the Shito Reiko Seiko Kai Karate Do India today, signed by the Chief Secretary of All India Karate Federation, Shihan Bharat Sharma. Thapa much excited after receiving the letter expressed that he is
happy to partake in the international level championship. “Not only for me, but it is a good news for whole of the hills as through me we are getting an opportunity to represent the hills in an international forum”, he added.
