Kalimpong, September 03:
“I have been deployed at Kalimpong since 1985 and now my retirement time is nearing. But recently I received my transfer order for Baniyapur, Balurghat. At this age how am I supposed to go so far and work?” Shekhar Khati, an Inspector at the North Bengal State Transport Corporation whines. Khati also complains that the NBSTC have been sometimes increasing and decreasing their salaries.
Along with Khati 2 more individuals, Suren Kumar Darnal and Tsewang Bhutia

The Transport Minister cum the NBSTC Chairman, Gautam Deb has been forwarded a letter stating that the getting transferred at this age is not justified and the transfer should be cancelled. “We oppose the transfer orders”, states the letter.
