The class 5 to 12 students of the Indo-Tibetan school, Kalimpong took out awareness rally today on environment conservation and ill effects of the pollution.

The rally kicked off from the school, encircled the town and ended back in the school. The students holding the playcards were heard shouting slogana for the protection of the environment and pollution free town.

The Principal of the school said that the rally was conducted as per the suggestion of the FORSEP Darjeeling. He also appealed the people to come under single roof and to follow the orders of the Municipality concerning the plastic ban and on the ban of the use of old smoke producing vehicles.
