25-member team of District Level Farmers’ Club Federation, Pithoragarh, Uttaranchal, today reached the office of the Kalimpong Krishak Kalyan Sangh (KKKS) situated at Damber Chowk, Kalimpong where they received a warm welcome. The troupe is in the town to look over the working system, project, work development, etc. of the KKKS.

Satisfied with the works of the KKKS towards the upliftment of the farmers of the hills, the NABARD and the government has tagged the Sangh as a model organization, because of which other farmers’ organizations of the country have been approaching the KKKS to learn from them.

The faction from Pithoragarh is under a 5-day visit under the leadership of its President, Ramesh Pandey.  The Principal of Pithoragarh College, Dr Mrigesh Pandey along with the students of the College are also in the group. They will be studying about the different projects and works of the KKKS during the visit.
