“We had gathered to celebrate our party’s 2nd foundation day. The incident which occurred today is very unfortunate”, commented the GRNM President, Dawa Pakhrin after the confrontation today. He said that still after the permission from the administration proper security is not being delivered. Police force equals to zero. The administration is failing under the Mamata government, he added.

“The action is a breaching the rights of the people. It is sad that even the Sabhasads were involved in this”, expressed Pakhrin.

He also said that the true face of the state government and the Police administration has come under light. 8-10 of the GRNM supporters have been injured, and even the vehicle was vandalized, added Pakhrin.

Further he announced that the GRNM shall carry forward an agitation in Kolkata. He also demanded that the accused should soon be arrested.

“If it is not done within 2- 4 days then I will be taking the matter to the higher level officers”, cautioned the President.

Likewise, the Communist Party of Revolutionary Marxist (CPRM) has also labeled the incident as unfortunate. The CPRM regional Secretary, Mohan Poudyal said that the GJM in one hand preaches about Gandhism, while on the other they practice the opposite.

“This is an attack against the principles of Gandhi”, he stated.

“There is no democracy in the hills, it has been proved. It is only for the GJM”, he added.

Lastly, he alleged that the West Bengal government of scheming all this and they are trying to suppress those voices which demands for a separate state.
