Taking into account the coming Christmas festival, Kalimpong police has laid down certain rules to avoid unforeseen circumstances. The Kalimpong police under ASP Songmit Lepcha today conducted a meeting with the Kalimpong hotel and restaurant association at the police station.

ASP Lepcha appealed all the hoteliers of filling the CI forms compulsory for the foreign tourists during their stay in hotels. Similar case is with the domestic tourist said Lepcha and informed to submit detail reports of the tourists to the police station. The identity backed by the documents of the hotel staffs (new and old) has also to be submitted and to make sure that the hotel and the restaurants shall remain open till 10 pm.  Later the hotels have to be equipped with the CCTV cameras she added.

She informed of the increased police patrolling during Christmas.
