Anup Pradhan, one of the injured who had survived the Triveni road mishap some two weeks ago today succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Kolkata. He died at around 3:25. The 27 year old, a driver by profession has sustained major injuries and was undergoing treatment at Kolkata after being referred from a hospital at Siliguri.

It may be recalled the deceased who belonged to a necessitous family was facing financial issues for his treatment, for which the family members had appealed for financial contribution from the public. The Triveni Yuva Sangh had come forward for the social cause and had started to gather funds for the ailing person. The Sangh has now thus requested the people not to credit amounts in the account number given by the Sangh earlier.

Still 9 people remain missing. Though the Rafting team along with the locals of Teesta is in search for it, there is no hope for them to survive.
