Milk price increased to Rs 24/lt
Mukesh sharma
Algarah, February 27:
Inflation affects the hills more than the plains. Most of the commodities are brought in the hills from the plains, thus, its prices are ever sky rocketing. Price hike has not only hit the town areas, but even the rural places are not left out. Following the inflation, the milk price at Algarah Bazaar has risen. The milkmen and those involved in supply of milk today held a meeting for the same. It was decided in the meet that Rs 4 extra will be charged per litre of milk. Now the milk which was sold at Rs 20 per litre will be sold at Rs 24 per litre. The increase in the prices of the fodder and other items for cow is said to be the reason for increasing the milk price.Tags: LOCAL
