The 5 days long training programme for the fish farmers concluded successfully today. The trainees were educated about the ways of fish farming and the use of proper materials. They were also taught on how to test the soil, temperature and the proper geographic features before setting up of a fish farm. A total of 20 fish farmers attended the training.

Saral Gurung, officer of Fisheries Department said, “The technology nowadays used in fish farming is very helpful and it also increases the revenue generation. There is much possibility for fish farming to flourish here”. He added that the fish farmer’s will be economically stabilized.
