A daylong health check up camp for the diabetic patients was held at the Gorkha Dukh Niwarak Sammelan (GDNS) hall by the GDNS and Kalimpong Sangrakshan Samiti with the help of Kin’s Advance Diabetic Care Clinic, Siliguri, today. More than 250 diabetic patients underwent the check up. They were also edified about the preventive measures and the symptoms of diabetics by Sumit Sinhal. Dr PP Bhattacharya and Dr Hiranmoy Pal along with a 9 member team from the clinic conducted the check up. Those patients who underwent today’s check up were offered 10% discount if they need further medical assistance from the said clinic. Dr PR Pradhan, the GDNS patron, President Uday Kumar Kumai, Secretary RL Trikhatri and others were also present during the camp.
