The annual meeting of the Thana Dara Driver’s Welfare Association was held at Ram Krishna Rang Manch today under the presidentship of Bhupal Thapa, member of the association. The issues faced by the drivers were discussed and deliberated at length.

Mahendra Gurung, member of Driver’s Union Central Committee cum President of Van Unit, was the chief guest of the meeting. Kazi Tshering Dorjee, President of Driver’s Union, chief guest Mahendra Gurung, Sukhbir Tamang from Teesta River Rafting and Pranay Lama, member of the Driver’s Association, were felicitated for their commendable works.

The meeting was coordinated by Tikaram Sharma, Secretary of the association. 15 new working members along with Diwas Khawas for the post of Treasurer were also selected.
