The Vidyarthi Morcha today took out a rally for support of Gorkhaland demand. Along with it they also demanded that the education system in the hills should be made stronger. Thus, for the same they demanded for GTA College Service Commission. The Vidyarthi Morcha also opposed the deployment of the Para-military forces in the hills. They are of the opinion that bringing the forces in the hills at this time when the examinations are going on will make a negative impact on the students. Students from different schools partook in the rally today. Deep Thapa, Dipen Thapa, Samir Sundas and others represented the Vidyarthi Morcha in the rally which started from the Morcha party office and ended at Damber Chowk after encircling the town.
