Under the directions of Darjeeling district SP, Kunal Agarwal, the Kalimpong Traffic department carried out two wheelers checking drive. The check conducted on a Haat day witnessed cases registered against 80 vehicles for breaking traffic rules. The department officials along with Sub divisional Traffic OC, Praveen Gurung checked for vehicles without proper license, insurance, pollution, etc. The two wheeler drivers have been directed to wear helmets while driving. The OC has appealed the drivers to keep the license updated and to always carry photo copies of the vehicle’s documents, driving license, etc.
