The 30 trainees who underwent Vocational Training on Cutting & Tailoring under the Swarna Jayanti Sahari Rojgaar Yojana recently received certificates along with sewing machine today from the Municipality. They were trained from 6th December, 2013 till 6th March, 2013. The 30 ladies from 23 wards belong to BPL families. Babita Ghatani imparted the training under which they were taught to make khadas, bags, decorative items, quilt and pillow covers, etc.

LB Pariyar, the Municipality president said that the said scheme aims to make people self reliant. If women are self reliant then their family’s economic conditions get better, he added and informed that if they wish they can also be imparted advance course in the same.
