Kalimpong Police seized 36 cartoons of illegal liquor from a Maruti Van at 8th Mile.

Police raided the van SK01P-1924 at 8th Mile at around 12:30am in the night after getting information from a reliable source in which they seized different brands of liquors, Sikkim, Bhutan & others liquors mainly illegal liquors of Indian product .

The liquors were being transported from Sikkim and was supposed to be sent for sale in  Kalimpong . The police also arrested the driver of the vehicle, Ram Sharma who was booked under the Bengal Excise
Act 46 B.He was produced before the Kalimpong Court today.
