A NBSTC bus was torched at kalimpong Motar stand at around 9.p.m by unknown miscreant.The bus which was parked in front of the office was vandalized before it was torched .Local acting immediately threw water and sand and took control of fire within half and hour but until the upper part was totally damaged.Police and fire personal reached the spot and took control of the situation.

GJM kalimpong sub division party has called a 12 hours of strike tomorrow in connection with a molestation of a girl in Darjeeling and aftermath incident. Nordhen Lama Coordinator of the party told HM That we condemn the incident and will keep all the shops and vehicle closed .Meanwhile emergency services will work as usual informed lama.
