4 people is supposed to be fear dead and six other in when a Sikkim bound Bolero vehicle  SK 01J-1900 met with a collision with a truck  at Gelkhola under Tista Police post at National Highway 31A  today morning at 10 a.m .

The impact of collision was so huge that  front of the truck was completely smashed and the bolero tumbled and plunged in river Tista about 100 fts down . There was 11 persons including the driver in the jeep,out of which Six other people managed to swim to safety but while four others are still missing and one body as been recovered  The truck  driver Sawan Dukpa has been arrested after the incident . " A police source said.

Vehicle was recovered around 4 p.m with the help of Van and rafting member. The dead has been identified as Ram Krishna Rai of Pache Samsing a remote village in Sikkim . Meanwhile Tek Bahadur Bhujel, driver of the vehicle , Deepak Gupta , Gupta and Ganesh of same family and  Bilawal Hussein are still missing .

Soon after the incident the 6 injured who managed to come outside the vehicle broking the window were rushed to Rambi block primary health centre where 5 are in good shape and one  Sahimidin miya right hand has been fractured.
