Finaly the long
pending demand of the Lepcha tribe has been fulfilled as the state
government has issued a notification that from the next session Lepcha
language will be introduced in all government primary schools.
Informing
about the same L.S.Tamsang the President Lepcha Development board today
congratulated the Lepcha people in a program held at kalimpong 6th
Mile.He too thanks the Mamta Banerjee led State government which is one
by one fulfilling its demand .
'From 2014 Lepcha language will be
introduced in all government primary school, we have received a
notification of the same undersigned by the state education secretary
and we whole heartily give our gratitude to the state government,
informed Tamsang.
