To
improve the different aspects of tourism in kalimpong sub division a
meeting was called by the Kalimpong S.D.O K Radhika Aiyar at her office.
The objective of the meeting was to prepare tourism blueprint
in the sub division . Different organisation attended the meeting along
with different governmental department along with BDO and DMDC.
Mass discussion took place to discuss every corner for the development of tourism points in the sub division.
President
of HORAK Sanjogita Subba told that the meeting dicuss about the
develpoment works that can be done in this field.Thier are many left out
places which can be use as tourism point by renovating it said subba
'We have laid many suggestion and project before the SDO and the next
meeting is schedule on 23rd Dec' added Subba
Rajiv Sahi of Kalimpong Integrated Tourism society said that
we have informed SDO about the chances of Home stay for tourist in
Kalimpong Block Two which has many beautiful tourist places in its bag.
Meanwhile
Kalimpong S.D.O K Radhika Aiyar, DMDC Pritam Limboo along with
Muncipality VC Ganga maya Gurung and Councillor Ravi pradhan today
morning at 5 am took out a joint venture and checked all the vats and
later visited the old and new dumping ground.
Kalimpong SDO office recently smashed a ban on the use of plastic carry bags in the town to control the solid waste management.
Kalimpong
faced a huge problem of Dumping Ground in the last five years.After
taking charge of Kalimpong SDO kalimpong K Radhika Aiyar have initiated
many process for the town.
