Milan Subba of Kalimpong has won one silver and one bronze medal in the recently held NKFI World open karate championship which was organised by  National Karate Federation of India at Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Complex Pune. Subba represented the 60-65 kg bout in karate and kick boxing event. In  Karate final he lost the fight with a player of Afghanistan and bagged silver whereas in kick boxing he lost the fight to a player from England and settle for a bronze. A total of 15 countries participated in the event which was held between 24-26th Jan.
