A total of 17 families out of 29 Families of  Kalimpong Block 1 received BDP( Bandobast Dalil Patra) in a program held at the Office of  Kalimpong Land and Land Reforms department today.

The paper was handed by Nordhen Lama Convener of  Morcha who was the chief guest of the Program.
 Block 1 land reforms officer Yankee Bhutia today informed that the distribution of the land is through the scheme of 'Nijo Griha, Nijo Bhumi Prakalpa' of the West Bengal Government  She informed that till now 118 families have been given the land which the the beneficiaries shall not be entitled to sell the land they have acquired. The beneficiaries along with land  will now be able to avail of various benefits under Block office.

 All the Beneficiary who got the patra hails from Kaffer Kangebong GP and are daily labourers who works at the Relli River informed Nima Syanden Revenue officer of Kalimpong Block 1. He added that due to bad weather condition the rest beneficiaries could not make up today.
