Show case of Indian Culture by NCC Cadets in Kalimpong

Sixty cadets from 23
different states of the country who are currently attending a ten days
National Integration Camp at Triveni Teesta showcased the cultural
diversity of India in a colorful cultural programme for Army personnel
and families of Kalimpong military station, and students of Army Public
School and Kendriya Vidyalay, Kalimpong today.
It was a unique congregation of NCC cadets from all parts of India
and by performing under one platform, NCC cadets from all all parts of
country reinforced the ideals of cultural diversity and national unity.
The theme of the hour long exhilarating cultural programme was to break
the cultural, religion, geographical and language barriers and to
foster the spirit of National integration, while educating the cadets
on the national strengths.
The Cadets are attending a ten day long National Integration Camp
organized under the aegis of NCC Group HQ Darjeeling, West Bengal and
NCC Sikkim Directorate. 624 Cadets including 302 boys and 322 girls
aged between 14-22 yrs are attending the Camp that began on 07 February
2014.
The cadets also interacted with Brig Arun Kumar, Dy GOC HQ 27
Mountain Division wherein the cadets shared their experiences in NIC
Camp with the Army Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and Other
Ranks.
