Kalimpong Town hall became Green just a day ahead of Holi. Green representing GNLF who after a span of almost 7 years today raised it head at kalimpong. The town hall area was today filled with green color party flag all over and each member who entered town hall was put 'green tika' on their fore head. GNLF party today organised a interaction program amidst tight security. From morning party worker from different party of the sub division started to reach Town hall which was so packed that the supporter were seen outside the arena too.

Patience, discipline and peaceful political struggle. Seven years in seclusion today the lines of the Leader in their address show this.On the  face of elections today no GNLF party leader utter a word on Election nor they speak on party's electoral strategy and did not comment on the opponent's electoral program too. But the speech was focused on the issue of Sixth Schedule. Today accumulated number of party workers and supporters of the team was enough to predict the mounting base in kalimpong.Today was the was the biggest political event after the reorganization of the party.

Addressing the program Maurice Kalikotey president of GNLF Kalimpong Wing said that Now we will give a strong message. He ordered his cadre to largely focus on the organization structure.

Anil Lopchan Assistant Secretary of the Branch following the Lines of party supremo Subash Ghising said the Sixth Schedule has divine power. He said that it has constitutional safeguard which will allows us to established our identity. Further he added we want follow the route of murder and violence.

GNLF student wing and women's wing leader were too present in the program.
