Kalimpong Town is gearing up for the first Election meeting scheduled on the 3rd of April. The meeting of GJM backed BJP candidate S. S. Ahluwalia will be conducted at Mela Ground informed GJM kalimpong sub division secretary Kumar Chamling today in a press conference at party office of GJM . After the  huge flow of the masses at the meeting at Sukna GJM and the BJP camp has got a boost and the Adrenalin is running high. Today mass poster in support of BJP candidate S. S. Ahluwalia were seen pasted by GJM cadre in and around the Town. Meanwhile Countering Dr. Mahendra P Lama statement of including Gorkhaland in BJP manifesto Chamling said that BJP is always is favour of small state which they have proved in the past . They are saying and have also put in their manifesto that the party will consider the long pending demand of the Gorkhas of this region I think Dr Lama knows what is the long pending demand of the Gorkhas said Chamling.
