A road show was organised in support of Darjeeling Lok Sabha independent candidate Mahendra P Lama from the Tista to Pedong this afternoon. Besides, election manifestos in form of leaflets were distributed in public on behalf of the candidate. Professor Mahendra P Lama released his election manifesto with the leader of the different party at 9th Mile .Just a day after the speech of BJP PM candidate Lama Lama announced he will not back BJP in the parliamentary election as it is not a trust able party  He said he had put forward a condition asking the party chief Narendra Modi to give it in written that he will address the separate statehood issue in the election manifesto but that was missing in the speech .He Suggests Modi to have a close look at the history of Gorkhas .

Modi yesterday said, “there is no place in India, where my Gorkha brothers and sisters are not working… Today there are police in every state across India… Police may or may not be there… but Gorkha private security will be there… People may not trust their police, but they trust the Gorkhalis… When someone can go off to sleep with Crores of goods lying around, just because a Gorkhali is standing there… This is not a small respect… this is a huge honour… to be trusted… You have earned this trust… you have earned this respect… “ .

Lama demanded the Modi and BJP party its candidate S.S. Ahluwaliya along with GJM Chief Bimal Gurung should make an apology .

Lama said after this remark it seems mandatory to Modi to read and understand the History of Gorkhas.' He should read the sacrifice which Gorkhas has made for the country and should have a look at the Idol of Saheed Durga Malla in Parliament' Suggested Lama.

Lama on a fiery mode said about 9 Gorkhas has represented India in the Olympic Games.Gorkhas is CM,Gorkhas Singer, Cinematographer Actors have rocked the Bollywood, thier are national proffersor and teacher who have got National Level Award. Many Gorkhas has went to Parliament. From last 31 year Gorkhas has been receiving the Academy Award' he does not know anything and for that he should make apology demanded Lama.

 He also accused BJP and GJM of misleading the people of the hills in the name of Gorkhaland, because nether Narendra Modi said a single word on the Dream of Gorkhas a separate state nor did the BJP manifesto.

Terming the context of Darjeeling Loksabha as High Profile Lama said that BJP is being Scared as for one lone seat in Bengal A PM candidate came for its meeting.
