ILTA,TYC to support TMC in loksabha polls

As predicted earlier today Indigenous Lepcha Tribal Association(ILTA) officially announced its support to TMC Candidate Bhaichung Bhutia. A mass public meeting was called by the apex body of the Lepcha today at Mela Ground where around 8 thousand Lepcha people from the district attended the meeting.The meeting saw the participation of TMC Leaders of Hills along with MIC Gautam Dev and Bhaichung Bhutia along with leader of Tamang Youth Association too The meeting look like a TMC meeting as all the lepcha wore TMC cap to have a sigh of relief from the sun.
Dorjee T lepcha today addressing said “ We support Bhaichung as to returns the gratitude to the state government as they formed the Lepcha Development Board " He said that only after TMC came into power we got the real Justice,adding he said that CM loves hills and lepchas a lot . He appealed the other community to lend support to TMC candidates.Meanwhile addressing the meeting MIC Gautam Dev today said the Bhaichung will defiantly win as he will get more than 5 lakhs vote from Hills and Plain. He said we are learning from the discipline of the Lepchas.
Meanwhile Addressing Bhutia said he took the challenge to fight in the election for promoting honest politics in the hills and vouched to become an honest and sincere politician if he is elected to Parliament,adding he said Darjeeling hills supported BJP candidate Jaswant Singh and helped him win the election with a huge margin, but he did nothing for the development of the hills.He alleged the GJM of using the politics of money and muscle power to show its strength. "The GJM is using public money meant for developing the Hills for its election activities
He said if elected as an MP, he would work transparently to develop the Hills. "There is a lot of work that needs to be done in the Hills. The road condition is pathetic, there is perennial shortage of water, education has taken a hit and unemployment is on a rise. If elected, my aim will be to address these burning issues," he promised.
