Voting peaceful in kalimpong

More than 72 per cent votes have been polled in Kalimpong Subdivision
today. before 7 am today voter were seen in queue in their respective
polling station. No untoward incident were reported from any where in
the subdivision as a whole. Kalimpong had 1,81,892 voter who cast their
votes in 261 polling station among high security.
Kalimpong witnessed 50 per cent a voting in the first 6 hours.
The entire election
process was peaceful .
Reports of malfunctioning of one EVMs was received in Gorubathan Block which received about 77% voting.
Bad
weather Hampered the last hour of polling as many area in kalimpong
received hail stones and rain which cause delay in collection of poll
percent.
