After campaigning about nine months in the Jungles of 2nd Mile due to fear of Landslide the 12 families of Poshyer and Tashiding area today today got the never expected Land and amount to construct their new home .Under GTA scheme of Hamro Ghar Yojna twelve affected families out of 21 in total opted to shift to new place at Purbung 6th Mile.

Under good work of Sabhasad Kazim Tshering Bhutia who from the very beginning was fighting for rehabilitation of family finally got the help form the GTA who provided the victims  a 3 decimal land on their name where they can now construct their home. Further they have been provided with financial help to construct home of which first part of the money i.e Rs 80000 each was distributed today by Kazim tshering bhutia the sabashad of that area. The financial aid was also given to 13 other different people falling under BPL category of samasti no. 33 to construct home.
 The families who continuously  appealed the administration to rehabilitate all as day by day and year by year the place they live was been eroded by River Tista down under and continuous landslide is occurring in down area of the Village.

One of the victim Amrita Chettri today told that the problem started from year 2006 onward when a jhora became so dangerous that it swept all the bridges and pulls and every year the condition is getting worst. She said that even her father in law was swept away and the body was found the next day in 2009.

But today while receiving amount the happiness reached its high as in a week time they will get the deed of land.They thanked the GTA and its chief for the dream which was fulfilled today.
