Nearly after a gap of 3
long years Kalimpong Nari-Morcha gets a new president in the form of Nanita
Gautam who has been termed as Tigress. Gautam, who was the founder president of
Nari morcha resigned from the party in 2013 and joined TMC and rejoined GJM in
March this year. The Nari Morcha in Kalimpong was running on an ad hock basis
which was finally dissolved today. A meeting to choose new post bearer was held
at GJM party office under the president ship of Nordhen Lama. Gautam was unanimously
voted as new president while Dika Moktan made the new Secretary. Sapna Chhettri
got the post of treasurer. However three Vice presidents, along with two
assistant general secretaries and one assistant treasurer were also chosen to
form the new Nari Morcha Committee in Kalimpong. Gautam assured that she'd
coordinate with other nari's and work efficiently without letting anyone down.Tags: LOCAL
