Lakshing Namgyal Bhutia(26) was arrested by Kalimpong Police in connection with the murder of a 62 yr lady who was found dead in a suspicious condition from her home on 20th Nov. Lakshing who was picked up Kalimpong police after investigation on Monday was arrested yesterday night after through inquiry said ASP Kalimpong Bholanath Pandey taking to Himalayan Mirror. He informed that Bhutia is the nephew in relation to lady who was murdered. He frequently visited her home and asked for money to her. On 19th Nov night they too had a fight between them after which some neighbour too visited the home to interfere but was sent out by both . The lady was found murdered the next morning. Many evidence was found near the spot which was collected during investigation. Bhutia was booked U/S 302 and was today produced before Kalimpong Court where for further inquiry he was remanded to 5 days of Police Custody .
