Pasang Tamang on the streets, presses for Separate District of Kalimpong

Pasang Tamang who quit
Morcha and came as independent leader today took out a rally in
Kalimpong in demand of separate Kalimpong District. Tamang around his
500 supporter today started the rally from D.B Giri road which encircled
the whole town and went SDO Office later submitted a 22 pointer
memorandum to CM
Mamata Banerjee through SDO Kalimpong . In absence of
SDO the memorandum was submitted to Dibyendu Shekar Das DMDC of
Kalimpong.
CM Banerjee is expected to tour
Kalimpong on the first or second week of December which have raised the
hope of Kalimpong people that finally she may announced Kalimpong as
Separate District
MLA Kalimpong Dr Harka Bahadur Chettri also expressed hope that CM may declare what the mass want to hear.
