Biswakarma Youth Association which has been demanding a separate Biswakarma( Kami) Welfare Board has sent a memorandum to DM Darjeeling demanding a separate board. The memo has been sent after Rajen Mukhiya District Hill TMC president news was printed on 26th Nov edition of Hamro Prajashakti that CM banerjee may announced a separate development board for Rai, Bhujel and Scheduled Caste tribe. Association has deeply condemned Mukhiya Statement and said that a Combined Scheduled Caste board cannot fulfill the aspiration of all tribe; Kami, Damai and Sarki.

In Kalimpong another group have been conducting meeting demanding a Scheduled Caste board in which the association has differences.

Association Secretary Dipesh Singh Ghatani today told the A combined SC board is not at all possible. He said the culture, history and language of all three tribe is different its better all three may be given board separately. He said we have already given a memo to CM Banerjee when she visited Kalimpong in September. Now soon we will pasting Poster,giving memo.

Meanwhile Dours Biswakarma Samaj has rendered its support to Separate Biswakarma Welfare Board after a meeting was held an Jagganath Dharamsala today.
