The recent political word war between JAP and GJM have come to a halt. After the declaration of List by TMC party the name of JAP president Dr Harka Bahadur Chettri was seen as a candidate of TMC party from 22 Kalimpong constituency which raised the political atmosphere in the Hills. In one hand GJM party was regularly attacking JAP and terming it as a A team as said by Bimal Gurung meanwhile JAP on the other hand was terming it as a communication gap .The GJM party has also targeting Dr Chhetri as his name was seen in the list of AITC candidate in TMC official Website. 

Today in the official list of TMC candidate 22 Kalimpong Assembly seat has been removed which indicate the ruling party in the state will now contest in 293 seat out of 294 leaving Kalimpong where it will support JAP candidate Dr Harka Bahadur Chettri.

Anmole Prasad, National Bureau member of Jan Andolan Party have issued a press statement today saying 'The recent rumor appearing in the media that Dr Harka Bahadur Chettri would be contesting as a candidate for the ALL INDIA TRINAMOOL CONGRESS has finally been laid to rest.

We note with satisfaction that our President and candidate Dr. Harka Bahadur Chettri's name does not appear in the list of candidates published online by the ALL INDIA TRINAMOOL CONGRESS.

We reconfirm and strongly reiterate that Dr Chettri will be contesting as a candidate for the JAP from Kalimpong 22 Assembly seat'

According to political observer the JAP party has incurred the loss after its president party name was included in TMC list of Candidate. Now JAP is targeting Morcha after CPIM party announced to support GJM in hills.

Party President Dr Harka Bahadur Chhetri today said that it now clear that this party dont have any ethics and policy. He said GJM is tying hand with CPIM who is responsible for killing of more the 1200 hundred people in 186 agitation, 5 in Sibhsu and it was during CPIM that the ex servicemen were lathi charged in Siliguri. Now which type of Gorkhaland will it bring with CPIM asked Dr Chettri.
