A new Concept By MARG , a non-governmental organisation has been started by bringing Religious Leaders from various faith to combat Human Trafficking and Child Sexual Abuse.

MARG which has been reaching out to the Religious Leaders of the hills of Darjeeling and till date have successfully completed such conclave for Religious Leaders in Darjeeling and Kurseong recently  .

Through its MUKTI project MARG with support from ECPAT Luxemburg and Arz Arun Pandey Goa in collaboration of Glen Family Foundation Kalimpong today reach out to Religious Leaders of  Kalimpong. Religious Leader from four different Sect gathered in Worship Centre to Speak on Human Trafficking and Child Sexual Abuse.

MARG general Secretary Nirnay John Chhetri told 'Religious Leaders plays an important role in our society and through them we can do wonders to make our place better'. MARG General Secretary spoke on the scenario of Human Trafficking followed by MARG Counselor Ms. Ashwini Chettri on Child Sexual Abuse .

There were 50 participants in total representing leaders from Christian faith, Brahma Kumari, Tamang Community, Catholic priest, Manav Uthan Sewa Samiti, Leaders from Sai Samati etc

Meanwhile MARG two group organised a informative program regardaing Child sexual Abuse at Pedong Primary School and of Human Trafficking at Pedong Senior School.

Such Awareness Program has bought massive awareness in our region which have led to reporting of incident informed Soam Tshering Namchu of  Glen Family Foundation Kalimpong
