The State Bank of India officers association (Bengal Circle) Kalimpong Composite unit today came up with a new idea to do social work . The unit which falls under Siliguri administrative zone today provided 5 umbrella to 5 temporary safaikarmi under Kalimpong Municipality and 19 pairs of Raincoat to 19 men temporary safai karmchari .The day saw the presence of ADC Siliguri President Debanta Ghiswami , Utpal Dutta Chief Regional Secretary (Siliguri), Lakpa Tshering Yolmo Central Committee Member, Vice president Sonam Kabo along with CM SBI Kalimpong A T Bhutia and Sanitary Inspector of Kalimpong Municipality Sanjay Pradhan was present . Kabo informed that the role of Safai karmi in keeping the town clean is praise worthy . We do not get time in social field as our times goes in Banking work. But to feel our presence in society we regularly do such social works which benefit our society .
