Hot, sunny Sunday in Kalimpong

The week ended on a hot note for the Kalimpong residents on
Sunday as the sky remained cleared with the temperature settling to 1 notch
above the average 27 degree celsius. The maximum temperature today was recorded
as 28 degree celsius. Similarly the mercury in Darjeeling has also moved up to
23 from 21 degree celsius. As per the sources the temperature can move up to 30
degree celsius at Kalimpong. The ice-cream and the hand fans sell have been on
a higher note in Kalimpong at present. The arrival of monsoon in June poses a serious threats of landslides.Tags: LOCAL
