Members of GNLF and Gorkha League join hands with GJM

KALIMPONG, May 11:
Eleven
of Gorkha League along with ten from Gorkha National Liberation Front (GNLF)
today joined hands with the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) today during a meeting
of the 4 branches of the GJM Yuva Morcha under Homes Zone held under the
Presidentship of Kumar Rumtel at the Community Hall of Dr Graham Homes (DGH).
The
GJM Central Committee Joint Secretary, Binay Tamang, Kalimpong Sub Divisional
Secretary, Samuel Gurung and the Coordinator of 24 No Constituency, Dr RB
Bhujel was also present during the meeting.
Marking
the addition of new members, the Central Committee Joint Secretary presented
them GJM flags. The Sub Divisional Secretary speaking of their leader said that
the movement initiated by Bimal Gurung is totally democratic and is based on
Gandhism. Saying that the GJM workers are helping the youths to go in a right
direction, he mentioned that any person is free to join GJM. During the
previous Gorkhaland movement the political parties used to forcefully make
people to join them, but GJM unlike them is trying to gain more support and
bring success to Gorkhaland movement via non violence, he underlined.
