Finally Branches along NH 31A whole heartedly accept the GTA demarcation

KALIMPONG, June 01:
There
is air of much satisfaction and happiness among the locals of Lohapool-
Suntaley area and Birik Forest Busty for their area being included under the
Labda- Mungpoo Constituency during the recent demarcation of the Gorkha
Territorial Administration (GTA). Now all the Branches along the National
Highway (NH) 31A who were demanding of a separate Constituency is ready to
again follow the Morcha’s lead whole heartedly.
Before
the area being divided and included under different Constituencies created a
tensed situation for it was difficult for the public to come together due to
Administrative, Panchayati and Geographical reasons. Since, after the whole
area is included under Labda- Mungpoo, the people feel that it is a great
achievement. All the Branches of the said area have also thanked the Morcha for
bringing them under one Constituency under GTA.
A
gathering welcoming the inclusion decision was also held during which the
Lohapool Branch President, Dal Bahadur Gurung, Secretary Kalyan Dewan, Yuva
Morcha Presient, Mohan Pakhrin and Naari Morcha President, Bimla Tamang were
p[resent along with other members.
During
the meet, Secretary Dewan along with the Teesta Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM)
Branch working member Secretary and Naari Morcha President welcoming and
thanking the decision added that they will be fully supporting all the
activities of the Morcha in the coming days. They shall also not tolerate the
adverse activities of the oppositions against the GJM, they underlined.
